Our clever Foundation students have had a wonderful time investigating in their first iTime sessions this week. We were very impressed by all the good thinking going on! Today we learned all about the letter Bb, and the best bit was bouncing around blowing bubbles on the basketball court (and sometimes into the office!) We have a growing collection of lost lunchboxes, drink bottles and clothing with no names on it in our Lost Property tub. Please come and have a look if you are missing something. It is on the black table on the decking outside FP and FC's room. Please remember to label all your child's belongings. A big thank you to all the parents who took time out of their busy week to come along to the Foundation Information Night on Monday. It was a great chance to talk more about the ways that young children learn to read, write and become confident in working with numbers.
As part of our iTime program, we require clean cardboard boxes for the students to use at the Box Construction centre. Please drop them off at FM's classroom. NO toilet rolls, egg cartons or milk cartons please. Thanks.
We have purchased some new equipment for the Prep Playground but are seeking old pots and pans, plastic bowls, wooden spoons, toys trucks etc for our sandpit and cubby house areas. Any items in good condition, would be appreciated. Please see your child's teacher if you have equipment to donate. The students are loving playing there each day. The students were very excited, and some a little scared, with the performance of the Lion Dance. It was truly a wonderful and memorable performance!!
